The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is Singapore's social security system. Both employees and employers contribute monthly to three accounts: Ordinary (housing, education), Special (retirement), and MediSave (healthcare). CPF LIFE provides monthly payouts from age 65. Track your CPF via the CPF mobile app.
IRAS e-filing for individuals is due by April 18 each year. Paper filing due March 31. Auto-included schemes (No-Acknowledgement) skip filing. Tax reliefs include CPF, earned income, parenthood, and Course Fee Relief.
Your employer renews via EP Online. Submit 6 months before expiry. The MOM reviews salary, qualifications, and company quota. You can check status on SGWorkPass app. Dependant Passes must be renewed separately.
Certificate of Entitlement (COE) lasts 10 years. Renew for 10 years at prevailing quota premium, or 5 years (non-transferable). Road tax must be paid annually. Vehicle inspection required for cars older than 3 years.
Renew online via SingPass on the ICA website. Cost: S$70. Processing: 1-4 working days for online renewal. Collect at ICA Building or designated post offices. Adult passports valid 10 years, children's 5 years.
